Elena just finished checking her glucometer. It turns out that her glucose is off the roof. It is the third time this week she sees an unexpected result. She ate a healthy breakfast, brought home-made lunch and ate a doctor-recommended dinner. Why was her glucose off the roof? She turns to Google search engine and sees over 10 results a page. Suddenly, her attention is brought back to the room. Her husband is doing construction work outside, her daughter is asking her questions and her niece is crying. She realizes finding the information she needs will take time so she stands up, forgets about her glucose, and continues to assume her role of being a mother.
